Day number 9 - a particularly wet day at Andamanda Phuket Water Park

We woke up to a wet, rainy and gray morning. Gloomy skies, torrential rain, who has the desire to even leave the hotel on a day like this?

During breakfast, I checked on Google and saw that the situation is actually going to improve in terms of the weather, and we decided - we are going to the water park!

An hour later, we drove in the pouring rain (!) to the water park. The right ones worked overtime, puddles appeared on the road and the vehicle splashed mud left and right. After all, what does it matter if we are wet when we are in or out of the pool?

We arrived at the parking lot, we were only the third vehicle there. This is how it is when you come on September 2. It turns out that everyone at school...

We went through a strict inspection during which we were asked to leave food, water and even floats in the car, because everything is inside the park.

then pay. The payments are for adult/child and includes a special watch strap that can be loaded with money. We decided to charge 2000 baht and went inside.

According to the child's height, you can tell which facility he/she is allowed to go up to

And then we entered the park, which was simply EMPTY!!!

The sun came out and we decided to rent a cabin to escape the heat. Some of the package also get 2 cans of water and popcorn.

In general, the whole story about the name of the water is not really understandable. You can buy a water bottle for 100 baht, then fill it up in places where it says BAR. The park is so big that every time you want to drink, you have to go and fill it, and it's a 5 minute walk each time.

Collars are not the solution because of the water quality in Thailand, and in my opinion this is the only drawback in this park.

There is a huge variety of stunning pools, for children and adults. Water slides of all kinds, shapes and colors, a beach combined with a wave pool (which works every few minutes rather than once an hour). In the park, floats are scattered in masses, and inflatables on which you can sail and most importantly - lifeguards.

This is the only place where we saw a lifeguard every 2 meters. In the small children's area, for example, there were about 4 lifeguards.

Here's another little taste of one of the most fun slides out there... you should turn on the speakers...

We left the water park full of experiences, and as soon as we got into the car... it started to rain non-stop...

We arrived at the hotel, got organized easily and because Friday came, we decided that there was nothing better than to have dinner at a Chabad house, with a few other Israelis. How many? A few hundred. There were so many that there were 2 sessions, one at seven and the other at nine in the evening.

We were short on time and took a taxi there. As we got off, the driver said goodbye to us with a "Shabbat Shalom" blessing and we entered the Chabad house.

For those who haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend visiting and making a reservation in advance for Friday dinner, if only for the atmosphere. We sang some songs, ate some food, heard chants and commentary and after about an hour at the end of the meal we left.

The children were a little hungry after the Chabad house, so we stopped to fill up at a nearby restaurant and ended this exciting day.
