Day number 15 - home!

We woke up at five in the morning to this amazing view...

At ten to six in the morning we were already downstairs, in the hotel lobby. I checked out and a pampering breakfast was waiting for us there, packed for the road from the hotel.

At one minute to six, a large taxi arrived (we had pre-arranged with Somkhayi) and we left for it. A man got out of the taxi... who is not Sumchai. He didn't know English, so I asked him - somechai? Told me - yes yes.

I asked him - coming to the airport?

Answer me - yes yes - and open the car door.

Everyone boarded while the hotel employees and I loaded the luggage into the car. The driver started the car and then said the name of another hotel... I told him - no - we need to go to the airport... and he again said the name - of another hotel.

I told him to wait a moment - I got out of the car and then just then - Sumchai arrived... It turns out that we got on the wrong taxi....

We moved the luggage to the right car and left for the airport. Because there were light traffic jams, the trip only took 40 minutes at such an early hour in the morning.

We went through security, handed over our luggage, took a look at duty free and got on the plane

And we're off....

We were dragged back by the sleeve, the pilot clicked what he clicked and then...

He couldn't start the engine

And we sit on the plane and think to ourselves, how can there be so many problems with engines in one trip???

The pilot said there was a malfunction and that he had no electricity (?) and really the whole plane became dark and nothing worked. We were told that in 5 minutes they would bring a replacement power source and we would be on our way.

Indeed, after 5 minutes that lasted about an hour, the pilot finally managed to start the plane (a huge plane with 2 floors!) and we set off.

The flight went smoothly, we arrived in Dubai for a fast connection and from there we arrived on another flight to Israel.

Now, we just have to start planning the next trip...
